Based on current advice the Society has regretfully cancelled the 2021 Save On Foods Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival as we are unable to ensure the safety of paddlers, vendors, sponsors and spectators both within provincial health and municipal guidelines.

We look forward to a successful Festival - Dragons Of The World - July 8-10, 2022.              Read the full letter here!

Best wishes to all and thank you for your understanding and your support.

Chair - Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival Society

As part of the Save on Foods Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival, Maffeo Sutton Park will be filled with amazing food trucks, drink and shopping opportunities - all weekend! The Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival Society is always looking to enhance the variety and excitement of the multicultural stage performances and novelty business vendors, and the selection of gourmet and culinary delights; all to satisfy the hungry dragon boat paddlers and festival spectators.

2020 vendors will be added as the information becomes available

Interested in being a vendor during the Festival? Simply download the PDF and follow the instructions. Applications must include all required documentation, licenses and fees as instructed and will be reviewed by the Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival Society.

Food Truck operators should read the Guideline -Sale of Foods at Temporary Food Markets to ensure you qualify for the required Vancouver Island Health Authority approval. To get the best spot, register early! Early registration ends April 30th. Final application deadline: May 31.

Our festival audience is generally interested in merchandise that centers on sports equipment and accessories, physical fitness, massage, health and well‚Äďbeing, and dragon-themed novelties.¬†While most vendors return year after year (really, it is too much fun), new vendors come on board each year.
